The subject of the talk will be how the development of technology and other factors change our way of listening to classical music in the future.
Last year Peter Maniura was the Launch Director of BBC Arts Online, the live and on demand service which aggregates the BBC’s Arts coverage across all its services and works extensively with partner organisations in the British arts sector. Previously he was Head of Television Classical Music at BBC.

Kristian Steenstrup, Professor of Trumpet at the Royal Academy of Music, Aarhus, Denmark. Kristian Steenstrup has done workshops with numerous wind -and brass sections of orchestras mainly in Scandinavia and Germany to improve performance by changing the approach of breathing and dealing with stage fright. In the lecture he will demonstrate some of the techniques used and the science behind them
